The project : An integrated system designed to accurately collect each player’s physiological data, movements, and game actions.
Our mission : To develop the ergonomics, technical integration, and design of the system’s components (individual sensors, beacons, camera…).
Samba Nor Diaw, a young entrepreneur and talented basketball player, soon realised the gap in equipment between indoor basketball and outdoor team sports. There was no fitting solution to aid coaching. Player performance analysis during practices and games still involves heavy manual processing. DataDunk was founded to meet this need, offering players and staff a high-tech solution to ensure safe physical engagement and boost team performance. The Use Factory collaborates with DataDunk to bring the system’s components to life.
Each player wears a connected device that allows the system to detect their position and activity with high precision using UWB technology.
This waterproof casing houses the electronics. It is designed for ease of wear, with rounded edges to protect the player in case of impact..
The front displays the DataDunk branding and an identification number.
The system for collecting player data needs beacons set up around the field. Focus is on easy construction and robust usage.
